There might not be any snow at the moment, but we all know how quickly that can change in North Dakota. To ensure that we keep our youth safe in the operation of snowmobiles, we are partnering with rural fire departments, rule ems personnel, and the North Dakota Parks and Recreation to host snowmobile safety courses for ages ten and older.

-December 28, Central Cass @ 10 am

-December 28, Horace Fire Hall @ 3 pm

-December 29, Northern Cass @ 10 am

-December 29, Buffalo Fire Hall @ 3 pm

The four classes listed above are FREE! Pre-register online here:

North Dakota law requires youth ages ten and older who do not have a valid driver’s license or permit to take a safety certification class. Those 10 and 11 also need to be directly supervised by a parent or guardian while on public lands. The certification is needed to legally operate a snowmobile on any public land, including the state snowmobile trail system and ditches.
