Once again, it’s time for our last meeting of the year. The meeting will be held at the Fire Hall in Horace at 7pm on Wed, May 3rd.
Our spring meetings always include tasks to close out the current season. For example, doing trail equipment maintenance, trail sign removal and general tasks like picking up banners from sponsors. But it is also when start the process of pre-planning for next season. For most, the snowmobile season is in the rearview mirror and quickly becomes out of mind. But if you think about it, now is actually the right time to start getting the club set up for success next season. To that end we want to again invite all area snowmobile enthusiasts and trail users to get involved by coming to a meeting. Come see what the club does to promote and enable snowmobiling and other community activities. Keep in mind our club meetings are a great way to meet other snowmobile enthusiasts. We are all volunteers in this endeavor but don’t worry, we don’t make anyone volunteer their time just because they show up. Your level of participation in helping your local snowmobile club is always up to you.
One special topic for this meeting will be club board elections. We have been going year by year with our board positions so it’s time to do it again so we can have the new board in place for continued pre-planning of tasks for next season. Being on the board is the ultimate way to get involved with your local snowmobile club. Hope you can join us and support the process.
We’ll see you there!!!
